    Health Concern Updates

    Charles Decker (Mike's dad)- Chuck had been doing great after returning from the hospital a week and a half ago. He has been staying at Mike and Laurie's home until he is strong enough to go back home. Yesterday (Friday) we did however have a set back, Laurie noticed that his leg was becoming quite red and started to look inflamed, we took him to the emergency room at Banner Gateway Hospital. After two different doctors looking at the leg, they were still puzzeled and ran a battery of blood work and ultra sounds. They concluded that he has cellulitis staff infection. He probably contacted this during his last stay at the hospital but while he was on antibiotics for the past week it didn't show up until they were complete. They are currently pumping his body with very strong iv's of antibiotics and are hoping he will be able to leave the hospital in a few days. Please pray for Chuck and the family as this has been a long haul with many more days of healing ahead. Chuck loves to get mail....if you would like to send him a card of encouragement, please do so...send it to Chuck Decker at 4279 E. Roundup Street, Apache Junction, AZ 85119.
